• ASMBS has updated their criteria for certification beginning 2026-2027. Please read the Fellowship Council’s Designation Descriptions and Criteria
• Beginning 2023, the FC offered a fellowship designation in Hernia & Abdominal Wall.
• The Fellowship Council continues to offer a discount on application fees for residents of Low to Middle Income Countries.
• We have updated our matching policies, beginning December 1st, 2023.

  ** Programs can offer additional interviews after February 28, 2025. Programs are highly encouraged to inform applicants they have not been offered an interview no later than March 31, 2025.
